This is a raw low fat cream with no added sugar. Raisins provide natural sweetness while boosting the flavor of the carob. They provide antioxidants, fiber, B vitamins, and a range of minerals, all of which are unaltered by heat. A fantastic nutritious snack!

- 1 tsp carob seed flour (it’s a white flour)
- 2 tsp carob powder (it’s a brown flour)
- 3.4 oz almond milk
- Cinnamon powder (to taste)
Directions
Step 1
Soak the raisins in cold water for at least 1 hour or in warm water for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Using an immersion blender, dissolve the carob seed flour in a portion of the almond milk. Add the drained raisins and blend.
Step 3
Add the carob powder and, gradually, the remaining milk. Blend again until it reaches a desired or smooth consistency. You can sprinkle the surface with cinnamon powder before serving.
Pro tips
You can use raw cocoa powder for one of the teaspoons of carob powder.
If you prefer it lukewarm, slowly heat it in a bain-marie, being careful not to exceed 100°F so that it remains raw.
