Quick Creamy Fake-Cheese

This (little) salty cream is similar to cream cheese with no cholesterol or long-chain saturated fat. It is gluten-free and provides a good amount of B vitamins, the benefits of garlic and the good fats of almonds and coconut.

Serving: about 1 cup


3 tsp locust bean flour (or alternative of choice)

3 heaping tbsp nutritional yeast

½ tsp garlic powder

1 tsp minced chives

0.04 oz fine salt

½ cup almond milk

4.4 oz plain coconut yogurt


Step 1 

Place the dry ingredients in the bowl and using an immersion blender, mix them well. Add almond milk and mix again.

Step 2

Add the yogurt and stir. Blend the mixture by making up and down movements so the cream becomes smooth.

Pro Tip:

You can store this cheesy cream in the fridge, in a closed container, for up to a week.
