Boosting Breakfast Bowl

"A good day starts in the morning", and with this breakfast the day starts in the best way; providing minerals, vitamins, phytocompounds and energy in abundance. Brazil nut supports the body with the recommended daily amount of selenium, and raw cocoa beans providing magnesium and extra antioxidants. A super easy recipe with no added sugar, which gives an extended sense of fullness.

Ingredients

Boosting Breakfast Bowl

  • 1 large apple
  • 1 cup of almond milk or oat milk (unsweetened)
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons of small oatmeal
  • 1 Brazil nut
  • 1 tablespoon shelled hazelnuts
  • 3 or 4 raw cocoa beans

Instructions 

Step 1


Wash the apple, core, and dice it – place in an appropriately sized bowl, add the oatmeal and milk.

Step 2

Shell the Brazil nuts and place them on a cutting board, along with the hazelnuts and cocoa beans without the skin. Chop nuts and beans.

Step 3 

Place the chopped mixture in the bowl, mixing to combine the ingredients. Consume immediately.



Pro Tip:
 

To always have Brazil nuts ready to use, shell and store them in the freezer.
