Quick Crispy Zucchini Sticks

In the picture they might look like french fries... Instead, baked zucchini sticks are just as tasty as french fries but far healthier! A pleasant way to eat a vegetable that has many benefits. When prepared this way, zucchini may be attractive to people who do not usually appreciate them.

Serving: 1-2

Ingredients 

  • 2 zucchini (medium size)
  • 3 oz cornflour
  • 1 heaped teaspoon of spice mix 
  • 2-3 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Step 1 

Wash and clean the zucchini. Dry them and cut them in half lengthwise. With a teaspoon remove the seeds from the center. Cut them into sticks.

Step 2

Combine the spice mix with the cornflour and pour it into a plate. Flour the zucchini sticks on all sides and place them in a baking sheet.

Step 3

Drizzle the oil over the zucchini sticks and bake for 25-30 minutes at 400°F, until a golden crust forms. Consume immediately.

Pro tip

If you have leftover spiced flour, store it in the refrigerator in a closed container for the next time you want to make these delicious zucchini.
