FAQ

  • Do you use the whole turmeric root (Curcuma Longa plant root) for the contents of your capsules?

Dr. Danielle does not believe that it is only the curcuminoids that help with the healing process but sees the whole Curcuma longa root as synergistic in its effects. From her own clinical practice, she sees the entire root to be beneficial and effective. That’s why she includes it along with 95% standardized curcuminoids.

  • Is this turmeric supplement organic?

Dr. Danielle's turmeric contains both organic turmeric, as well as standardized turmeric, giving you the best of both worlds.

  • Do you test for heavy metals in your turmeric?

Yes, Dr. Danielle cares deeply about the quality of her supplements. Our Turmeric is tested for heavy metals to ensure there is no unwanted contaminant or unhealthy element in this turmeric supplement.

  • Why does my turmeric capsule seem clumpy?

All of Dr. Danielle’s products contain no fillers, binders, or additives, and the raw materials can separate during shipping. In this particular case, cellulose could be added to the product to keep it from having this look. However, Dr. Danielle doesn't add this because she values a pure and unadulterated product.

  • Why does my new bottle have capsules that are in a different color?

What you are experiencing with that batch is perfectly normal! We do not use any fillers, binders or additives to keep the product uniform in the color or scent of the product. We pride ourselves on being all-natural!

  • What is the best time to take this turmeric supplement? How many can I take?

There is not a set time that is most beneficial to take this turmeric supplement so feel free to take it whenever it is the most convenient! Our suggested use is 3 capsules daily. However, we have had customers report great success with taking more! If you do decide to take more than the suggested dosage, make sure to monitor how you are feeling and contact your doctor if anything feels out of the ordinary.

  • Should I take Turmeric Curcumin if I am pregnant?

As with any dietary supplement, we recommend that you consult with your healthcare provider before taking this turmeric with black pepper supplement during your pregnancy.

I ordered this product because I had injured my knee at work and after weeks of living on Aleve, I was getting no relief from the pain and stiffness. This product claiming to relieve joint inflammation got my attention. After about 7 days of taking 2 capsules a day, I can honestly say my knee is about 85% better. I'm going to continue taking this supplement and hope I'll regain total movement of my knee.
